For instance, our hero is a kindhearted, hapless guy who happens to be surrounded by gorgeous women, including one he truly loves (a black-haired, sword-wielding guard and an inventor of outrageous devices). This series takes elements from so many other anime that it really leads to a weak feeling. Another little note: this show is rife with shots of animated girls in various stages of undress, not hentai but definitely heavy on the ecchi, so if that disturbs you I wouldn’t go any further. If the fact that you’ve seen about a dozen similar shows doesn’t turn you off there is some entertainment to be had here. So of course we have the lone male with lots of girls all trying to get him, and of course Taro rejects them at every twist and turn. Well, let’s get this out of the way right now: yes, this is a version of the standard Tenchi Muyo! plot setting. Lows: Fan service unfinished no character development Highs: Fan service some nice gags short episodes don’t drag Unfortunately for all involved, poor Taro is allergic to girls except for the one maid who captures his heart, Mariel. Inside resides an army of gorgeous maids eager to provide for his every whim… or rather to provide for what they believe should be his every whim. After a short trek he arrives at his grandfather’s mansion. Taro’s mother has just passed away being young and alone, he sets forth to find his estranged grandfather.
